That's quite a telling comment and I'm sure there are many who share your outlook. I'm not a Super O guy but for your sake -- and for Lionel's sake -- I hope Lionel is listening.

Any time a manufacturer can sell something that's so good it induces hobbyists to replace what they already have, everyone wins:

The purchaser, because he's a happy guy
Lionel, because they get to sell the same thing twice
Budget-minded hobbyists because they get a fresh supply of good used items
