I actually mocked this up a few months ago using folding tables, scraps of plywood, etc. I concluded 30" depth for me. If you butt two 30" tables in a corner the curve track at the back of the corner (O54 in my case), was much deeper than 30", Making it hard to completely avoid access hatches
