This is my first post and I hope this is the correct place in the forum.  Attached are pictures of my father’s train which I would like to learn more about.  He has had it since about 1949 or ‘50.  The body of the train appears to be cast aluminum and is quite heavy. It still runs nicely.

I am most interested to learn when it was produced, by whom and any other history associated with it.  I would also appreciate opinions of value although I am not interested in parting with it but rather intend to keep it in the family.

If specific additional pictures would be helpful to you all, I can certainly upload more.

Thank you in advance for your help and thoughts.

Zach
