I think you miss the point of the original post.
If someone is looking at buying a replacement remote, it's because they have a LC set. Otherwise they wouldn't be looking for a replacement.

Hence the reply, just download the LC app.

I don't think you caught his point..... Not all LC, nor all LC+ have Bluetooth so loading the app does no good. There is no Bluetooth receiver in earlier models. And maybe, just maybe, they use a button phone or landline too

Someone recently pointed out the universal remote couldn't do a MU with the universal, it required the original, but that is the only limitation I've read about so far.
