Reply to "Illinois Central MADISON Passenger Cars - Orange and Chocolate IC Livery"

I have been modeling 3-rail Illinois Central passenger trains for my (central Illinois 1935 to 1950 period) home layout. Have the MTH Premier City of Miami, MTH City of New Orleans and MTH Panama Limited. I am checking this forum and the O scale forum to see if anyone knows of any modeler who may have O scale IC orange and Chocolate brown livery MADISON cars.

I am sure they would have to be customized as years ago i saw a photo of the cars on an 2-rail club layout somewhere in northern Illinois. Unfortunately, I can't locate the internet bookmark that I intended to use as a reference for the photo and the O Scale club name/location at a later date.

Does anyone have any leads on any such cars, or the collector/club where the Madisons may still exist?

I just backordered the Lionel Legacy Illinois Central Atlantic and would like to add a few Madison coaches to a regional consist of Atlas milk cars and the newly purchased GGD RPO.  Also would appreciate any information on who may create custom paint jobs such as the IC livery.

Thanks,

Golden gate Depot made some real nice ones but not in the color you mentioned. Varity is the spice of life and adds realism give them a look at Public Delivery Track a Forum sponsor.
