Funny story
eddie called me and told me some guys were coming to meet him about using his layout for some subway movie. They got his name from the ogr magazine. He said he knew nothing about subways and asked me to join them in his Luca brazzi voice The two guys turned out to be director Tony Scott and the executive producer Don for the remake of a the taking of Pelham 123. They didn’t have enough room at Eddie’s layout to film so I invited them to the nj hirailers layout. They loved it and were going to create a miniature New York on our layout to film the scene. The scene was supposed to be people from the mayors office talking to a train nut to see how the hijackers were going to get out of the tunnel. They later deleted the scene as the movie was getting too long. I got to meet Denzel Washington and the production crew gave us a signed scene shoot sheet which I have hanging at the club. All thanks to Eddie
Perhapse that shot will be released as a special anniversary deleted scenes edition?
