How are these signs wired? What is the operating voltage and is it DC or AC? Do they come with a "stepdown transformer type plug", or are there just two wires so that they can be tapped in to a small DC or AC supply? Reason I ask is that I would like to buy a few of these to place in various spots on the layout. I have buss wires for 12 VDC and 16 VAC, but no "nearby" 120V electrical plug or power strip.
We had a brewery here, and one of my favorite downtown sites was a large animated sign of the contents of a beer bottle being poured into a glass, with the wording below..."Pour a Koehler Collar..." If they offered this, I would buy one in an minute. I even have a great spot for it...on the roof of my MTH brewery!
You can run the signs via the battery pak included with the signs or you can order the plug in module to power them at extra cost from miller
