Several years ago I converted three gutted MTH PS-1 steam locomotives with Lenz 5 amp decoders to run on three rail DC/DCC. They all worked perfectly. I didn't pursue this any further as equipping all my locomotives would had been very costly. I converted the three engines to conventional with QSI reverse units.
