Actually, my experience has been they run quite well together.  Since the LC+ uses a flywheel based speed control, they have very accurate speed regulation.  The identically numbered units that respond to one remote will run together very well.

Lee Willis does a lot of LC+ and had a number of identical units he runs together with no issues at all.
