Is the rumor of the DCS handheld discontinuance substantiated?

Folks,

In a few threads I’ve seen mention of MTH discontinuing the DCS handheld. Has anyone actually heard this from MTH? If so, do they mean the starter set handheld (opting for app only control) or the actual full function DCS handheld?
