Reply to "Is this Western Maryland car rare ?"

Doug, That car looks to be a special order by the Community Model Railroad Club in Frostburg, Maryland.  The car number tells me they did that run in 2015.  I have taken part in each of their special run fundraisers since 2016 or 2017.  They do one every year except this year because of the uncertainty of MTH, I believe.  I may be mistaken, but I believe that special runs I participated in were of around 200 cars made, I can't say for sure.  So yes, it is pretty rare.  You could look up the club's contact information and ask them how rare.
