I thank you for your considerate reply, with great information.
I enjoy reading of your experiences and knowledge, regarding all aspects of railroading, actual and modeling.
Now, that I'm retired and more involved in model railroading, I'm finding and learning more of real life railroading, which is interesting.
I did not realize that area and space, for clearances for curves, land formation and tunnels, especially tunnels of different heights and widths, affected railroading, until being involved with model railroading.
