IT' TEAM TRACK TUESDAY ... ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY EDITION !!!! 8/8/17.

IT's TEAM TRACK TUESDAY 8/8/17 Edition!!!!   Share your team track photos here!!  First off thank you Tim for starting the thread last week.  I forgot to ask someone to start the thread for last week during the prior week's TTT post,  so my sincere apology  .... I was out of town attending a music seminar last week at the State University of NY in Fredonia.  The seminar kept me busy from early morning to late night each day and to be truthful, I didn't even think about checking in on the OGR forum all week.  In my other life I'm a passionate musician, so all my creative juices were flowing into my music last week. Again,  my sincere apology for forgetting to ask someone to start the thread in my absence.

I began Team Track Tuesday on August 9, 2016 and the thread has been running each week since,  thanks to ALL of  YOU who contribute each week and to those who stop by the TEAM TRACK to catch a glimpse of what's going on.  I must admit that it is becoming more challenging to create new scenes each week, however, I love the challenge!   Creating new scenes challenges the imagination and when the muse strikes it's alway interesting to see what new comes out of an inspired moment.   Over the past year a very cool community of modelers have come together to contribute and inspire one another.  I learn so much from ALL of YOU!!  I hope you will join me in keeping this thread going as I look forward to its continuation.   I plan to be here with new scenes each Tuesday and hope to meet everyone ( and new folks as well ) on the TEAM TRACK each TUESDAY!!

TEAM TRACKS are a vital part of day to day railway operations.  Most all kinds of freight cars, passenger head end equipment and MOW equipment can be on/off loaded on team tracks.  Team tracks are found in rural areas, small towns, and large cities.  Team tracks are not to be confused with sidings or spurs that serve a particular kind of industry such as an oil refinery/distributor, lumber yard, etc.

Remember that the purpose of this thread is to inspire one another.   Everyone with a team track on their layout is welcome to participate no matter how elaborate or simplistic your layout may be.   If you have a siding that is not designated for one kind of industrial use then in all probability you have a team track.  Snap some photos of freight being on/off loaded and share those photos right here!!

This week on the Free State Junction Railway's team track number 1 in lower Patsburg, we have a flat car load of large blocks being unloaded with the help of  the big hook.   The city is using these blocks to build a retaining wall along the river.   Lets see your photos and have a wonderfully creative week!!!  Cheers!!!IMG_3062IMG_3026IMG_3027IMG_3029IMG_3033IMG_3034IMG_3040IMG_3041IMG_3043IMG_3045IMG_3046IMG_3047IMG_3048IMG_3052IMG_3053IMG_3058IMG_3064IMG_3066IMG_3068IMG_3069IMG_3070
