I just picked up a set of three of these cars, the 1781 Strasburg, the 1782 York and the 1784 Observation. I am not very familiar with JAD Daniels Trains. I know the JAD Standard Gauge Hiawatha, and know they made a Standard Gauge M10000. I know that Daniels was the D of JAD.

About when were these made? Were there other cars? Judging by the numbering I have to assume there was a 1783 coach to fill the numerical gap between the other coaches and the observation car. How rare or common are these, and are there any known quirks with them, or variations.

I have to assume Arno and some of the others here will be able to fill in the gaps. Thanks in advance.

Hello. I have the 1783 if interested. garyhemmingstad@gmail.comDSC_8854
