Back in 2015, there was a thread explaining that Jeff Dobslaw was leaving (or had already left) the model train business and that his Atlas pre-orders were being taken over by another dealer: https://ogrforum.ogaugerr.com/topic/jd-trains
That does not explain why the website is still up and still appears to show a substantial inventory. Unless the remaining inventory is being sold off, in which case you’d expect there to be some notice to that effect, actually taking payments through the website is either the fault of the merchant or the online payment administrator. I can’t see that the website has been updated since sometime before 2015.
I dealt with Jeff Dobslaw with no issues for a few years and I think I even went to his store in the St. Louis area once.
