I am planning to pick up a reissue 1-700e myself here shortly. I have a drop in RS 2.5 sound system with correct Hudson sounds and whistle to replace the early RS1 it comes with. Even 773's from the postwar time frame fetch darn good money, especially the 1950 version with the big tender. One day, I will own a prewar 700e hopefully. Till then, my "mini me" versions fill that prewar void. I also need new cab numbers on my 002 semi scale Hudson. Since its already heavily modified, I will number it 5341 or something other than the factory number. I never got into the Command Control, just more to go wrong or go obsolete. Give me an E unit, and basic puffing smoke if it has to have that. Along with being made in the USA. That is highly important to me personally. AD
