@ConductorDean posted:So I just got the Lionel LCS system so I could drive my trains with my phone. A completely unnecessary thing but I enjoy it. My question is, whenever I change my switches, why does my K-Line locomotive’s headlight start flickering? It won’t stop until I interrupt track power. Nothing bugs me more than a locomotive doing what it shouldn’t. Any advice? Couldn’t find anything in Lionel’s iCab manual online
Pro tip- look at your base when this is happening. If the transmit light is a blinking, then you are sending commands out on the track. The headlight in the engine blinks anytime the engine sees a TMCC command over the radio signal.
Most likely, this is normal operation, but you should identify if and why you might be sending extra commands.
