I looked at the k-line trucks and they do have a raised section. I looked on rr picture archives and it showed bc rail caboose #1875 with roller bearing trucks with leaf springs so I will order from Atlas #7068 roller bearing trucks with leaf springs and electrical pickup.While I have the caboose apart, I think I will replace the bulbs for LEDs and eliminate the smoke unit. Thank you all for the great info and I will post update of my caboose project.
