If I was a locomotive with a wide open belly I would surely stop running and start crying.

Seriously, the scale forum has only a few folks with any clue about TMCC or Proto whatever. We hook one lead to the tender, the other to the locomotive, and apply DC. Some are moving toward DCC and Tsunami sound - whatever that is -

I did 2-rail a K-Line Hudson many years ago. Motor in the firebox and a round boiler. It looked pretty good. I kinda miss K-Line.

Good luck - you will probably do better on the O-27 forum, or the one dedicated to TMCC.
