So I was able to dissemble the tether plug. I could not find a replacement plug; however, Hirose makes a similar plug with an identical female plug. I purchased a few of the DF11, 2mm pitch female plugs and rebuilt the original tether. the insulation is very soft and some of the leads required more than one try with the crimping. I figured that I would share my fix since the tethers are hard to find especially in the 6 pin, 6 wire format.
