I received the Pennsy MP-15 today. I must say that I am pleasantly surprised with it. It even has a horn ! Since I am giving this loco to my grandson, I wonder if it's speed can be toned down by wiring the motors in series, or some other method I am not aware of.

Nice score, Dan! Yes, wiring it in series will slow it down to a more reasonable pace. I did that with mine.
