KY Steam Heritage, CSX and RJ Corman Partner to Move C&O 2716

Kentucky Steam Heritage Corporation is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for fans of steam locomotives and historic diesels alike. Thanks to CSX, R. J. Corman Railroad Group, the Southern Appalachian Railway Museum, and The Kentucky Railway Museum, C&O 2716 will be on the move this summer to our shop in Ravenna, KY for restoration. The engine will be pulled to Ravenna by Clinchfield 800. We will be hosting a very special send-off excursion to be held at Kentucky Railway Museum and tickets will go on sale to the public Thursday, April 18th. All proceeds from the excursion will be used to help restore L&N Pacific 152 and C&O Kanawha 2716.
