Another solution would be to change the switches over to DC fixed accessory voltage with Bob Nelson's CD circuit so you can park on the switches without the buzzing, or overheating the solenoids.

No sir.  The disk capacitors were what was suggested to me and they were both inexpensive and incredibly easy to install.  They ARE noticeable - I’ll admit that but, they’ve worked perfectly now for at least a decade.
