I have a new ZW-L transformer, and am running 3 concentric loops of track using 3 of the 4 outputs of the ZW-L. The hot rails of the loops are insulated from each other. I gave the outputs of the ZW-L engine #s 1-4 and assigned the type XFMR to them. I then attempted to build a lash-up of outputs 1,2 & 3. The building process appears to work; each of the components appears with an attractive transformer icon, and the CAB-2 reports that the train has been created; I assigned Train #11 to the group. But when I choose train 11 and turn the red throttle, nothing happens to the transformer voltage.
Has anyone tried this? Is it supposed to work? It seemed logical that it would work, but something is missing.
