I built this 16 x 16 layout with the Grandkids in mind. Can operate four trains at once from 031 to 072. Two main reverse loops. All switches are command controlled. All Lionel operating accessories are located on the outside and are push button controlled (as opposed to CC). Conventional, TMCC, Legacy, Lion Chief all operate fine on it. They've had a ball running trains, loading, unloading, etc.
