Bob is correct, all I'm doing is replacing track power with battery power using a switch that already existed in the locomotive. It ends up being a dual-power locomotive, track or battery.

Since LC/LC+ is an RF system that runs on AC or DC equally, it's happy as a clam with the battery power.
