This thread has been dormant for a while, however, I assume connecting the WiFi module to the home network is still an issue for many. I recently purchased a new Linksys router to see if it would connect as a stand alone network, however met with the same results as before. It shifts into connection mode with the slow blinking light, but the light never turns solid. It would be good to hear from @Railsounds or @daveolsen with respect to any progress or solutions to this continuing problem.
Would Lionel consider a factory exchange or test for those of us who would pay to send the units in for evaluation? Operating in access point is not an efficient use of this product for me.
