No. The Lynksys router is configured as a wired access point off my AT&T gateway. My gateway is downstairs and I have a cat 5 connection to the Lynksys router upstairs. The Lionel WiFi module is then paired / join to network with the Lynksys wireless network via WPS.

Oh. So in your original post you meant your Linksys router was in access point mode and not the LCS WiFi module?
