I’ve never used Bluetooth, but I don’t believe you can adjust the smoke level in conventional mode. Legacy engines come set at the “low” setting. If you know someone with a Legacy system, take it to their layout and set it to “high”. I believe the setting should remain in memory thereafter.

One other thought: cover the main stack with your finger and blow into the whistle steam opening. Sometimes an air bubble will block the smoke tube.

I also use more fluid than the manual suggests for the initial fill.
