You mentioned in the video being limited to smaller Legacy engines. Given that, you should check out the upcoming Legacy Atlantic from the 2022v1 catalog. I believe there is a NYC version. They’re rated for O31 and should be nice like your new Consolidation. My experience with Legacy engines is the same as with a bowl of Chex Mix - the first grab leads to endless more.
I hope you and your sons have hours and hours worth of fun with your new engine on your terrific layout.
Thanks for the idea, I had looked at that engine a while back but decided on the 2-8-0 because I liked the looks a bit more. I'm going to be a little patient and see what comes in the 2023 v1 catalog, plus that gives me some time to save up!
Question for everyone, am I missing something on the whistle steam, does that not work with Bluetooth? Do I need a legacy controller for that? Just wondering why it doesn't seem to be working.
As for the Mets vs Braves, going to be a great match up this post season!
