@Bob "O" If the engine is already "fired up", simply press the engine soft key, and there should be a cab light button in the bottom corner. Note that this feature can only be accessed via legacy.

Unfortunately, the Rule 17 toggle does not turn it on. While I was in the train room, I checked the Legacy Control System manual. On page 35 are the exact instructions that Trainmaster suggested. But this Cab light icon does not help either.

I can live without a cab light. The flickering firebox certainly keeps things well lit. Rod, did you have a chance to see if your cab light works? Perhaps it's not meant to work.

It runs well and smokes well from the stack. Whistle steam is weak so far, but others have said it improves with time. Love the variable pitch for whistle and bell.
