Reply to "Legacy - DCS Bridge: Running MTH trains with the Legacy remote proof of concept"

So how does the Legacy side know when it is supposed to issue the DCS remote commands?

I suppose one could add a placeholder engine to the Legacy remote on a specific address.  Then the "bridge" would need to be programmed to listen for commands on that address.

Each DCS engine would need a corresponding "slot" on the Legacy remote, with each programmed into the bridge.  This would obviously reduce the number of Legacy engines you could run - just like running TMCC engines via the DCS remote/app does.
