Without the ability to address individual engines from the remote I don't see how this would get to running MTH trains. That implies a whole 'nother realm of control. Is there a plan for how to move from broadcasting to one-to-one communication using the remote? I can see a raspberry pi project, but not how it would extend to a remote interface.

If the data on the PDI bus includes the engine or train number in the data, the bridge could be programmed to only respond to certain addresses that are reserved for DCS locomotives.
