This New York Central passenger train is made up of old equipment. The locomotive is a "lightning stripe" P2b electric #223 made by MTH with PS1 electronics and a BCR. These locomotives originally ran on 3000-volt DC at Cleveland Union Terminal and were later brought to New York City and Grand Central Terminal where they were converted to run on 660 volts DC. The passenger cars are an MTH Premier Madison set.
