I am working on a shelf scene.  It is loosely based on the now gone double snowshed at the mouth of the big hole just beyond Norden California.  SP then, now UP.  It features the double snowshed I built some time ago. I cut 2 inch foam as the backing for my rock wall.  I bought a backdrop from Scenic Express and am painting some to fill in.  Rocks are hydrocal out of rock molds. Using "Iron Grip" 100% silicone to stick the rocks.  Tracks will be live.  Need to figure out lighting and brush.  I plan a couple of Ponderosa pines to transition the great artistry of the backdrop with  my meager attempts.  Having fun!  I have spent more time studying the scene and thinking than the actual doing!
