So I took the multimeter to the track again. I found a section of track (1.75”) where continuity dropped. It’s not a section I added, it’s just past that area right where the train stops. It makes sense too because if I put run the train fast it’ll stall and come back after it starts the corner.
I tried bending the tabs a bit to give the connection more bite but it’s still dead.
I’ll pick up another section Tuesday when I leave work at a reasonable hour and hopefully I’ll be good for awhile.
When I get that straightened out I’m looking forward to wiring all my buildings up. I should have a productive winter when I’m done doing outside home projects and I can put some time into building the town and yard of the layout.
