You are correct and did that in the past when I purchased a Ready to Run set from them that was used. They check to make sure everything was there and ran the locomotive to make sure it work. Living 10 minutes away from the place made it easy to return. They gave me a refund no questions asked. Their test track is very short and I don't think we would have seen the issue I had it. No worries as it was sorted out.
