Lately I have been going through some TCA quarterlies from the 70's and 80's (which has been fascinating). Yesterday, I stumbled across an article about Lionel's 1936 Salesman information. In this information, they discussed that the 45 gateman was a sore subject for dealers, as it sounds like they couldn't get as many as promised. Then the salesman tries to sell them a 1046 crossing gate. It says you wind it up and it works for quite a while on each wind. I've done some research, but cannot find one. Has anyone ever seen this? I'm assuming by the lack of information it was never made.
