Here is the Lionel 1956 instruction book covering wiring and using many items including transformers, accessories, operating cars, signals and track.

Ran it through Power PDF to make it searchable so you can type in a word instead of scrolling through all the pages.

That is a great resource and the search function saves a bunch of time. Thank you for posting this and have a great Thanksgiving!
