Reply to "Lionel 2020 V2 Catalog - What Are You Hoping For?"

Over the past 15 years with at times various rumors of a "DNR" in place for this highly detailed and selectively compressed product line I'm glad that Lionel has kept their Lionmaster semi-scale line on life support and did not completely pull the plug.  Besides the SD80/90 diesels, they've reissued w/ Legacy or LC+2 the Big Boy (2x), class A, challenger and T-1, BUT I still must ask @Conrail6358 (Ryan K.) and @Dave Olson why hasn't Lionel reissued their great looking and popular Lionmaster Hudson (2004) or CabForward (2007) with either Legacy or their (TMCC enhanced/Legacy LITE) LC+2 electronics?  Both the Hudson and cab-fwd have a very strong secondary market demand and it's been almost a generation since we've seen a new version.  In addition to their respective original issued roadnames, I imagine both these models would be popular with a "Lionel Lines" roadname option.

It would be good to see a Lionmaster steam offering once every 3 to 4 years ...especially now that the future of MTH's Railking line is imperiled.  Depending on how things settle out... maybe Lionel could license or rent some of the Railking tooling and produce those items with Lionel's electronics?  Lionel did similar with a number of the K-Line scale tooling.
