Matt, they are scale length. Although the Central had some longer versions. What I would like to see. Is the hand rails and cupola grab irons slimmed down a bit. Some added detail to the step treads. Thinner window mullions. Separately applied roof walks. Round ladders. The ones on there now are just flat stamped steel. I don’t need smoke. It may look cool. But the stack ends up being way oversize.
These cars were really well done for the time period they came out in. The 80’s. With the many NYC steamers they have offered with the latest bells and whistles. It’s time to upgrade their caboose.
