Did you dry it immediately?  Have any problems with rust after cleaning?  Did you apply any light oil to discourage rust?

And, no, I didn't worry about drying it.  The weather took care of that!!  Bright sun, 85°, light breeze, resting over baked concrete slab.  Oiled the axles after dinner, reassembled the loco the following morning, made an adjustment to the smoke piston, poured a glass of wine to accompany writing the forum post.

If the weather hadn't taken care of the drying, though, I have a pistol-type hair dryer hanging by the paint spray booth.  That's where/what I would have used.  But the other Spring chores I used the pressure sprayer on begged for that hot, sunny, breezy day.  All good!!
