Finally fixed engine reverse trouble. After multiple resets and reseating all circuit boards engine would still not go into reverse. I looked at the circuit board on engine that connects to tether cable from tender. Just as a thought I heated up the solder connections on that circuit board and to my amazement engine finally goes into reverse. Must have been a cold solder connection. While shell was off I replaced the smoke unit resister and cap. (original was starting to burn and smell very bad) All features now work on engine and tender in Conventional and TMCC. You never know where you will find a trouble. Thanks for all the responses.
