@452 Card posted:... the bent over end was reversed by someone over the years and got "trained" in the wrong direction. The open end goes over Bob and the folding tab lays next to him, with the end piece hooked over the end of the car above the coupler, locking the insert in place with the open end facing up in the box.
This is how my -75 cars are. I couldn't make out that flap in your original pic.
