Lionel 456R Coal Ramp Repair

Hello All,

I am trying to replace the "safety wire" on the Coal Ramp as mine is broken. A quick search of Lionel's website yields no repair items. Is there anything you have done to replace this wire or any ideas as to where I can find a direct replacement? Ideas and photos of repairs are encouraged!
