Reply to "Lionel 6-12062 FasTrack Grade Crossing with Gates and Flashers"

I just installed a Lionel 12062 dual crossing gate which is a replacement to one that had which failed after three years. The new one functions but the gates only go up about halfway, considerably lower than the old one based upon an old picture that I had. Is there any adjustment to the rise of the gates or is this one defective?
