The worms are not mounted to the motor shaft, they are inside the gear box connected to the motor via a driveshaft. On many Pittmans even the flywheel is held on with set screws. It is on this engine. Not sure what J the parts came off of. The driveshaft surely is. Thats why I think the swap would be easy.
