I had the same exact problem. Its like the logic circuit on the board has gotten confused. I never figured out a way to reset the board so both lights worked at the same time. I discussed this with Mike Reagan when it happened. He only had two suggestions. Replace the board or wire both leds to the same same connector. I ended up waiting for the 1/2 price parts sale and replaced the board. I kept the original board as a spare. The Led wires in the crane are very small so I went the easier route for me with the board swap.
