When you check the R2LC, it will be the C08 firmware version, at least that's what the loco came with. If so, anything later like the C11 or C13 will also work as a test for this issue. Make sure you reprogram it totally whenever you move the R2LC between engines, and when you put it back. That's both the ID and the engine type.
