I bought a JLC H7 used 8 or 9 years ago long before the Legacy version was released. I think I spent about $900 then. My biggest problem with the JLC is the two chuffs per rev so I added magnets and a reed switch to get 4 chuffs per rev. That mod has held up surprisingly well over the years. The whistle is really unique.
